Commission Process Q&A
What types of commissions do you offer?
I am currently offering people and pet portraits in oil, graphite or charcoal.
How do I request a commission?
It’s simple! Just fill out the commission form here or you can e-mail me at calystagamma@gmail.com
What information do I need to provide in the form?
Please include the type of artwork you want, size, preferred medium (oil paint or graphite/charcoal), and any specific details or reference images that will help me understand your vision.
How is the price determined?
The price depends on the size, complexity, and medium of the artwork. Once you submit the form, I'll review your request and provide you with a quote!
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, I require a 50% deposit to secure your slot and my time. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the artwork.
How long will it take to complete my commission?
The timeline varies depending on the complexity and size of the piece.
Paintings: typically within 2-3 weeks to complete and ship.
Drawings: within 2-5 days to complete and ship.
How will I receive my completed artwork?
I will carefully package and ship them to you once protective varnish (for paintings) or fixative (for drawings) fully dry — artwork care guidance will be included. *Shipping costs are added to the final price.
Can I see updates on my commission?
Absolutely! I’ll keep you updated with progress photos throughout the creation process.
Do you offer gift commissions?
Yes! If you’re commissioning a piece as a gift, let me know if you need it by a specific date!
